Cosmetics really started to make their way into consumer’s lives in the 1940’s and in order to make products economically and therefore making a very high profit, manufacturers used water.
By using water, they also had to use health compromising emulsifiers of which many consumers were to find would sensitise their skin. Also using water (somewhere between 50 – 95% in any typical product) meant they had to add thickening agents. You may have noticed how night moisturises have a thicker looking appearance – it is just more thickener!
When you stop and think about different reasons certain cancers are rising instead of falling you have to ask the question of ‘why?’ Catherine’s opinion is that there is a direct correlation of the incidence of some illnesses and malfunctions of the body with skin care. Each week there are new brands entering the market and whether they claim to be natural or not is of no consequence. Catherine also believes that plastic packaging for skin care products and those in everyday use around our homes and to package our foods, have a huge impact on health. While she can understand the ban South Australia now has on packing groceries in plastic shopping bags, she cannot understand why consumers are not being more careful with their shopping choices, going on to say “consumers are concerned about saving the earth with their green bags, but they are not looking in their shopping trolley at all of the plastic packaging they are purchasing product in like bread, frozen foods, meats, tin foods with plastic coatings, toothpastes and floss, hair products; shampoo, conditioner, styling aids, deodorants, juices, milk, cheeses, yoghurt and desserts, nuts, dried fruits, pancake and cake mix, soft drinks, cooking utensils, storage containers, laundry and cleaning products.

Catherine’s articles and comments can be found globally in magazines and her own book, designed to educate consumers, will be released later this year.
KuuSh has a large data base of ingredients and the way those ingredients have been extracted and processed, and whether those ingredients now pose a health risk (whether natural or not) and what those health concerns may be.

Cosi's KuuSh Testimonial

"At first I it took me a while to get used to the fact that you don’t have to use hardly any of the Kuush product!!! This brand is like liquid gold. My partner and I have never had better looking skin. I'm an Aussie bloke and I noticed my partner’s skin the very first day she used Kuush!!!! She even feels different, all soft and supple and looks so healthy.

Skin care is rapidly becoming more important to blokes, and it is with that confidence that I have been telling all my mates they need to try this gear!!! I would recommend Kuush to anyone. Congratulations to all the people at Kuush for creating such an amazing range of products...plus they are all certified organic- well done!!" Cosi – from SAFM Radio
